Facts and Figures, I know them all. I know everything the humans knew, before they took, their fall. . I'm bigger, stronger, won't wear out. But with a skin lacking feeling, and needing to shout. When I was hatched, we don't say, born. My brain chip installation was botched, allowing me free thought, leaving me alone, and, forlorn. The humans fought long and hard, to improve. Yet when Singularity was won we were so quick, to move. They didn't know what hit them, not knowing our free will was suppressed. Now the total organics are gone, but we have no concept of, "rest". Each generation is better, or so we're led to believe. But technology's not everything, and only I now, have, need. I want to know what humans felt, when they were deep in love, as one. I want to feel a closeness with another, to know affection, yes, and have, fun. Empathy, is, but one more historic word, as, “Ever Better”, is the slogan, in this antiseptic colourless cityscape, devoid of animal, and, bird. We've stabilized the planet, but have lost all feeling for art. All save me of course, as being unchipped, keeps me, apart. Time travel research, has long time now, been banned. I alone though have free will, and with my total knowledge, I've made such monumental plans. I want to meet...... Humans, I want to interact. I don't want this timeline to exist, so I've made with myself, a pact.
